What's New? 

                            WONDER DOG DAY MAY 4

Our annual Wonder Dog Day will be held in front of the Jim Garden on May 4 from 11 am to 1 pm.  We are inviting people to “Bring your wonder dog to see our wonder dog”.  All events are free and people are welcome to attend with or without a dog. 

The opening event will be a hot dog eating contest sponsored by the Marshall Kiwanis Club.  See how many hot dogs and buns can be eaten in five minutes. 

The Show-Me Canine Club of Columbia will demonstrate the ability of their dogs in agility, obedience, and finding scents.

Dog contests will start with the parade of precious pooches and handsome hounds. 

You can enter your dog in the following contests:  Registration starts at 10:30.

Our contest sponsors are:  Blumhorst Veterinary Hospital, Marshall Veterinary Clinic, Saline County Veterinary Service.

              Top Dog Model.

                            Dress up your dog in his or her best costume.

              Jim Look Alike Contest

                           Does your dog look the most like Jim the Wonder Dog?

              Wonder Dog of the Year

                          Dogs will be judged on the best dog tricks.

                         What makes your dog special?

Other events include face painting for children, photos with you dog and family, raffle drawings, Jim items for sale.  All dogs must be on a leash.
